LAKE FOREST
The city has approved a $6.4-million law enforcement contract with the county for fiscal year 2000-01. The contract is a 5.4% increase over last year’s contract due to a higher cost for patrol and investigative vehicles, increased salaries for all Sheriff’s Department staff, and the addition of a volunteer service coordinator. The increase also covers additional training for deputies assigned to the city.
