Who is the best golfer among former professional athletes?

If betting odds can be used as a measurement, former Dodger pitcher Rick Rhoden is the best. He is listed at 7-5 by the Caesars Tahoe Race and Sports Book for the annual American Century Celebrity tournament being held this weekend at Lake Tahoe, Nev.

Football’s John Elway is at 12-1, with hockey’s Mario Lemieux 15-1. Michael Jordan, a late entry, was posted at 100-1.

Rhoden was third after the first round, two shots behind actor Jack Wagner.
