* Re “The Answer’s Clear: Use Less Oil,” editorial, July 6: It is long past time to call a passenger car a passenger car. SUVs are automobiles and should be subject to all the safety and fuel economy standards of other automobiles. To fail to do so is pandering to the automobile industry.
