The Planning Commission is scheduled to meet today to discuss a proposed expansion of the Calvary Evangelical Free Church.
The church, at 468 Legion St., wants to add 1,031 square feet for administrative offices and housing. Residents opposed say the addition will cause increased traffic and congestion and take away from the area’s residential character.
The commission will also continue its review for a Morgan Stanley Dean Witter office at 302 Glenneyre St. In June, the commission requested the design look more “retail” and have a larger reception area.The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave. Information: (949) 497-3311.
