Quarterly Income Up 86% at Brea Bank

Pacific Western National Bank, a Brea community bank, reported second-quarter net income of $545,000, or 62 cents a share, 86% higher than the $293,000, or 33 cents a share, a year ago. Total assets as of June 30 grew 23% to $171.7 million.
