Britney Spears Shifts July 31 Concert From Hollywood Bowl to Great Western Forum

Pop singer Britney Spears has canceled her July 31 Hollywood Bowl concert and replaced it with concerts at the Great Western Forum on July 30 and 31. Holders of Bowl tickets may exchange them for comparable seats at either Forum concert at the point of purchase. After Thursday, the exchange becomes nonexclusive and subject to availability, with remaining seats going on sale to the public on Friday.

According to the concert’s promoter, Andrew Hewitt and Bill Silva Presents, Spears requested the change because the Bowl could not accommodate some production elements she has added to the show since the start of her tour. Rick Stuart, production manager for the promoter, said the elements involved Spears “flying” over the stage and a simulated bedroom set.
