The Fullerton Elementary School District is spending $2.1 million this summer on school maintenance and repairs.
Last week, Fullerton school board members approved 14 short-term projects at the district’s elementary and junior high schools to be completed before classes reopen in September.
Projects include installation of fire alarm and intercom systems at five schools, portable classrooms at 13 campuses, new paint at four, and new play equipment at three.
