On Assignment Inc. Posts 30% Quarterly Income Rise

On Assignment Inc. of Calabasas reported net income of $4.5 million for the second quarter ended June 30, a 30% increase from the second quarter last year. Revenue rose to $47.8 million from $39.3 million.

On Assignment provides temporary professionals to the scientific, health care and environmental industries through 161 branches in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
