Pasadena Internet Firm Hires Exec

* Rahim Esmailzadeh was named chief operating officer of Codexa Corp., a Pasadena-based Internet company that provides information and filtering services to traders and other financial professionals. Esmailzadeh, 36, most recently served as managing director and head of quantitative strategies at Deutsche Bank.

* Telemundo Group said Fernando Lopez was named vice president and general manager of KVEA-TV, Channel 52, in Los Angeles. Lopez most recently served as assistant news director for KCBS-TV, Channel 2, in Los Angeles.

* Mark De Vitre has been named senior vice president, operations, of FX Networks and general manager of Fox Movie Channel. He formerly headed FX Business Affairs, where he handled strategy and management issues for the FX and Fox Movie channels.

* Roy Millonzi was promoted to vice president of sell-through sales at New Line Home Video, which distributes New Line Cinema films on VHS and DVD.

* Tom Meredith has been tapped as vice president, research, for Intertainer Inc., a Culver City company that provides movies and TV shows for PCs. Meredith was formerly director of market research for Warner Music Group.

* Paul Woidke was promoted to chief technology officer and senior vice president of Los Angeles-based Adlink, which sells cable spot advertising. Woidke was formerly the company’s vice president and director of operations.
