Chandler Named to El Pollo Loco Post
Ray Chandler has been named director of facilities for El Pollo Loco, an Irvine-based restaurant chain. Chandler previously was at Jack in the Box Inc., and has held management positions with Boston West LLC and Tony Roma’s.
* Jose Barragan has been named food and beverage manager for Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, set to open in Anaheim next year. He most recently served as food and beverage manager for the Disneyland Hotel. Carlos Acosta has been appointed food and beverage manager of the Disneyland Hotel. He had been food and beverage director of the Outrigger Wailea Resort and Aston Wailea Resort on Maui.
* Dante Fornari has been appointed vice president of sales planning and support for BAX Global in Irvine. Fornari, who joined BAX in 1994, was previously director of BAX field sales for the Northeast. He also held the positions of sales manager, regional sales manager and national accounts manager.
* Don Fitzpatrick has joined Andrew L. Youngquist Construction in Costa Mesa as project manager. He was formerly senior project manager for Clark Construction Group.
* Todd Hatcher is the new director of assets and commodity marketing for Wyle Electronics in Irvine. Hatcher joined Wyle in 1999 as manager of commodity marketing and assets. Before that, he spent 15 years with Avnet.
* Ty van Hooydonk and Karin McPherson have been promoted to directors of Paine & Associates in Costa Mesa. Hooydonk has been with the public relations firm for seven years and McPherson, since 1995.
* John N. MacDonough has joined the board of directors of FSbuy.com in Anaheim. He is the former chairman and chief executive of Miller Brewing Co.
* Andrea D. Williams has been named program manager for the Orange County affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in Costa Mesa. Before joining the organization, she was a research associate for the City of Hope National Medical Center and coordinated a family cancer study at the USC School of Medicine, Norris Cancer Center.
* Steven Hobbs has been elected to the board of directors for the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana. He is senior vice president and risk management practice leader at Marsh Risk & Insurance Services in Newport Beach.
* Robert Murray has been promoted to chief technology officer at Red Sky Interactive in Irvine. Murray was previously director of systems development, responsible for fulfillment activities.
