Pink Dot Signs McLane as Its Major Distributor

Pink Dot Inc. in Camarillo, an online food delivery service, has reached an agreement allowing McLane Co. to serve as its primary distributor of grocery, frozen and general merchandise products.
“With more than 100 years’ experience in nationwide distribution services, McLane Co. will be a valuable asset to Pink Dot as we undertake our expansion program,” Pink Dot Chief Executive Dan Frederickson said.
McLane, a subsidiary of Wal-Mart Stores Inc., has 16 distribution centers across the country that will provide Pink Dot access to regionalized grocery, frozen and general merchandise products, as well as the availability of thousands of national brands, including Del Monte, Kraft, Stouffer’s, Lean Cuisine, Minute Maid, Kleenex, Friskies, Tide and Ivory.
Privately held Pink Dot, which was founded in 1987, currently delivers to more than 130,000 customers.
