The City Council tonight will consider approving an agreement with the county to expand the El Toro Branch Library.

The agreement calls for the city to pay $200,000 for the construction of a storage space. The work will allow staff to empty the 1,000-square-foot community meeting room, which now is used for storage.

The county will retain ownership of the library.

The council meets at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 23161 Lake Center Drive.
