* Jazz. The 22nd edition of the Playboy Jazz Festival, June 17 and 18, will feature headliners Dianne Reeves, Count Basie’s Orchestra, Boney James, Regina Carter, John Scofield and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, among others, at the Hollywood Bowl, 2301 N. * Film. The second annual “Method Fest Independent Film Festival” (named for Lee Strasberg’s method acting theory) will feature 18 feature films and 15 shorts, accompanied by workshops, symposiums and a music festival June 16 through 23 at the Laemmle Playhouse 7, 673 East Colorado Blvd.; the Balcony Playhouse, 39 S. * Theater. Legendary iconoclastic performance artist Rachel Rosenthal presents her last work as a solo artist, “Ur-Boor,” about a woman trapped in an orbiting space capsule with a talking computer.
