* General Motors Corp., said its second-quarter vehicle production in North America will be 1.5% higher than originally planned because of the strong pace of sales in April. GM estimates that by the end of this month, production will have reached 1,554,000 cars and trucks for the quarter, 23,000 more than the original estimate.
