Kennedy High School band officials will hold a silent auction Sunday, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the La Palma Community Center, 7821 Walker St. Band members will perform during the event to raise money for its trip to the 2000 Olympic Games in Australia in September.

The auction will include raffle and lottery drawings, games and refreshments.

The event will be the band’s final major fund-raiser before the Games.
