El Segundo-based Infonet Services Corp., which sells Internet services to businesses, said its fiscal fourth-quarter net income rose to $9.95 million, or 2 cents a share, from $8.4 million a year ago. The latest results exclude an after-tax charge of about $4.42 million, or about a penny a share. Revenue rose 81% to $154.5 million.

* Burbank-based infomercial producer Phoenix Media Group Ltd. has agreed to purchase Mitchell Travel Service Inc., which operates travel agency Burbank Travel & Cruise Center, for $1 million.
