Baker Named LM Aeronautics V.P.

* Longtime Skunk Works executive Rick W. Baker has been promoted to vice president and site general manager of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co.’s Palmdale operations. LM Aeronautics is the company formed last year when Lockheed Martin Corp. consolidated three former businesses in Texas, Georgia and Palmdale.

* Woodland Hills-based Litton Industries named Barry L. Rhine president of its subsidiary PRC Inc., replacing Leonard Pomata, who resigned. The PRC unit is a provider of scientific, engineering and information technology for Litton’s public sector clients. Rhine had been PRC senior vice president and general manager for PRC’s Civil Systems market sector.

* Dutch insurer Aegon, which acquired Transamerica last year, named Ron Wagley president of its Transamerica Occidental Life Insurance Co. unit. He replaces Rudy Veerjee who is leaving Transamerica. Aegon also promoted Karen MacDonald to executive vice president and chief operating officer of the unit.

* Hot Topic Inc., the Industry-based retailer of teen and music-related apparel and gifts, has tapped Patti Bodner as vice president of Hottopic.com, its Internet subsidiary. Previously, she was chief marketing officer at Allpets.com.

* Joel Bennett, chief financial officer of Malibu-based toy maker Jakks Pacific Inc., has been given the additional title of executive vice president, and Michael Bianco, formerly senior V.P. of sales and development of Jakks’ Flying Colors unit, has been named executive vice president of the unit.
