Olson Named Simulation Sciences VP

John Olson has been appointed vice president of marketing for Simulation Sciences Inc. in Brea. He had been director of oil and gas marketing of Honeywell IAC. Before that, Olson was business development manager for Texas Instruments/Rexnord Automation.

George A. Wentz has joined Berryman & Henigar in Santa Ana as senior vice president. He will also serve as office manager. Wentz was formerly a principal for a management consulting firm and headed his own public sector consulting service company for four years.

Nancy J. Hobbs has been named president and chief operating officer of IJNT.net Inc. in Irvine, which will become Universal Broadband Networks. She was previously area president and general manager for Verizon Wireless’ Southwest area, which covers markets in California and Nevada. In addition, Steve M. Pierson was appointed chief technical officer. Pierson had been vice president of engineering/operations for Verizon Wireless for California and Nevada.
