Quality Systems Profits Fall

Quality Systems Inc., a Tustin developer and provider of computer-based practice management and electronic medical records systems for medical and dental group practices, said net income for the fourth fiscal quarter decreased 27% to $549,000, or 9 cents a share, from $755,000, or 12 cents a share, for the comparable quarter of last year. Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 fell 10% to $8.8 million. For the year, net income rose to $2.5 million, or 40 cents a share, from $584,000, or 9 cents a share, for the previous year. Revenue increased 8% to $36.4 million.
