Proposed Acquisition of MaiSoft Called Off

MaiSoft Inc., a Laguna Hills software developer, said Friday that its proposed acquisition by a New Jersey company has been scuttled by mutual agreement of both sides. The previously announced deal with IVoice.com Inc. was for $6 million worth of stock and $1 million in cash. No reason was given for the collapse of the deal.
