EHobbies.com to Begin Streaming-Video Series

Share

EHobbies.com is hoping to make its merchandise--from model trains to backyard telescopes--more appealing to shoppers with a series of short videos on its Web site such as “Introduction to Train Layouts and Scenery” and “Spectacular Sights in the Night Sky.”

The Santa Monica-based online retailer will launch EHobbies TV today with more than 30 programs that also cover bird-watching, radio-controlled cars, comics and action figures. The streaming videos are subject to long pauses due to Internet traffic congestion. But the 3- to 10-minute videos have good production values and slick animation.
