Laguna Niguel Broker Is Fined, Suspended
Dow Jones
The National Assn. of Securities Dealers fined Laguna Niguel broker William Fred Ponce $10,000, suspended him for one year and required that he requalify as a broker.
He was accused of engaging in private securities transactions without providing prior written notice to, or receiving approval from, his firms. The association also said it found that Ponce failed to provide his firm prompt written notice of outside business activities.
Ponce did not admit or deny the findings.
