Massacre Victims Exhumed in Kosovo

U.N. war crimes tribunal workers began digging up graves in Kosovo, removing the bodies of dozens of massacre victims. The graves in Brestovac are believed to hold 34 of more than 50 civilians killed in the village by Serbs during their crackdown on ethnic Albanians, said Hans Houwan, supervisor of the exhumations. Serbian troops and residents shelled the village and opened fire last year, slaughtering the victims, local residents said.
