Uniloc.com Names Manager of Engineering

* Bill Sorensen has been named engineering manager at Uniloc.com in Huntington Beach. He was formerly customer support manager for end 70 in Irvine, and held management positions at Micros, Emulex Corp. and Control Data.

* David J. Kummer has been named an account executive with SullivanCurtisMonroe Insurance Brokerage in Irvine. He was previously with Tegner-Miller Insurance Brokers in Santa Monica.

* Tricia Dunn is the new vice president of human resources for Melles Griot in Irvine. Dunn, who has 21 years in human resource management, had been director of human resources for Melles Griot from 1988 to 1993. In addition, Stephen Kidd was appointed business unit director, capital equipment. He has been with the company for five years.

* Vicki Bott has been named senior vice president and manager of consumer direct distribution for Washington Mutual in Irvine. She had been Washington Mutual’s senior vice president of operations for the mortgage banking group.
