Beckman Coulter Signs $45-Million Agreement

Beckman Coulter Inc., a Fullerton maker of medical instruments and products, said Wednesday that it has signed a three-year supply agreement worth $45 million with an Atlanta group-purchasing organization.
Beckman said in a press release that it will provide Shared Services Healthcare Inc. members with biomedical systems and supplies.
The agreement includes instruments and products for nearly every area of the clinical laboratory, expanding a previous agreement.
Shared Services handles purchasing for 566 hospitals and 381 alternate care facilities in 10 Southeastern states.
