Internet Business’s International Inc., a Newport Beach electronic business company, said Thursday that three Slovenian companies have signed letters of intent to begin using a Web site designed for business buyers seeking prices on needed supplies and materials.

The foreign companies would use a Web site set up by a subsidiary of Internet Business’s to buy at least $56.5 million worth of supplies and resources for their operations over the next year.

The Newport Beach company, which operates 11 Internet subsidiaries and divisions, would see revenue of more than $2.8 million, or 5% of the sale price, from sellers, said Albert Reda, the company’s chief executive.

Two of the companies, Koroska and ZKD, are food distributors that would be looking mainly for farm equipment, and the other, Nieros Metal, is a maker of stainless-steel products that would search mainly for fabricating equipment, Reda said.
