SMALL FACES
Having teamed for “Turn Your Lights On” on the Grammy-sweeping “Supernatural” album, Carlos Santana and Everlast will be in studio together soon to record “Babylon Feeling,” a song that will be on Everlast’s next album, “Eat at Whitey’s,” due in late September or early October. N’Dea Davenport, the Roots’ Rhazel, Cypress Hill’s B Real and Goodie Mob’s Cee-Lo have already recorded guest appearances for the album, with David Campbell (Beck’s dad) arranging strings for two songs. . . .
With Brian Wilson on tour for shows with symphony orchestras, the Beach Boys co-founder’s first solo album, 1988’s “Brian Wilson,” is being brought back into print by Rhino Records on Sept. 5. In addition to the original 11 songs, which include collaborations with Jeff Lynne and Lindsey Buckingham, the reissue version will add four songs that were only available on singles before and seven previously unreleased tracks from the album’s sessions.
