TUSTIN
New Horizons, an Orange County YMCA community services program, is sponsoring a six-day trip to the Grand Canyon for a group of adults with developmental challenges. The trip started Saturday and ends Thursday.
The program offers several other travel opportunities to allow participants to explore their world without the aid of parents or other care providers. Participants must be at least 15 years old, function safely in a group and possess adequate self-help skills such as feeding, dressing and bathing. Fees for the trips range from $295 to $395. Information: (714) 838-4549.
