Ingram Micro Inc., the world’s largest computer products distributor, said that it has started looking for a new president for its Latin American region to replace Donald Lyman, who resigned Monday to pursue other opportunities.

The Santa Ana company turned over the reins temporarily to Jorge G. Reyes, vice president for accounting and finance for the region. Reyes is a 26-year veteran in global finance management and has held senior executive positions managing the Latin American region for the past six years.
