Jupiter and Saturn sit closer together than they will be until December of 2020. Look for them in the morning sky between 4 and 5 a.m. They are due east and near the horizon. Jupiter is the brighter of the two; Saturn is 3 1/2 degrees to the upper right of Jupiter. The two planets slowly diverge in weeks to come.
