Interim City Manager George Wentz is leaving the civil engineering firm RKA to join Berryman & Heniger Inc., and the City Council today has to figure out how to handle the change.

RKA has been providing staffing and other services on an interim basis for the city, and the City Council must decide at its meeting whether to continue contracting for services with RKA and pay Wentz’s new firm for his time, hire staff to work directly for the city or allow Wentz’s new firm to subcontract through RKA.
