The Discovery Museum of Orange County is accepting nominations for its inaugural Orange County Trash Bash being held in April. The awards ceremony will recognize individuals, companies, city or government agencies and nonprofit groups that have made outstanding contributions to environmental causes. The museum, through its “Eco-Art Gallery and Creative Ecology Program,” expects to have diverted more than three tons of trash from county landfills by June.
