The Moderator and the Panelists

Moderator Judy Woodruff is a lead anchor for CNN’s Election 2000 coverage. A 30-year veteran of broadcast journalism, she is also CNN’s prime anchor and senior correspondent. Before joining CNN in 1993, Woodruff was the chief Washington correspondent for the “MacNeil/Lehrer Newshour.”

Panelist Doyle McManus is the Washington bureau chief for the Los Angeles Times. During his career with The Times, he has covered the White House in addition to foreign policy and national security. He covered national affairs from the New York bureau and served as bureau chief in Beirut.

Panelist Jeff Greenfield is a senior analyst for CNN’s “Inside Politics” and co-anchor of “CNN & Time,” a weekly news program. Before joining CNN in 1998, Greenfield was ABC News’ political and media analyst, appearing regularly on “Nightline” and as an essayist on “World News Sunday.”
