LAGUNA NIGUEL
Plans for the $2.5-million Alicia Skate and Soccer Park will roll ahead at today’s City Council meeting.
Designs for the much-anticipated park include a 19,000-square-foot skateboard park, a soccer field, 107 parking spaces, a drop-off area and restrooms. The park also would have lights, according to a report from Pamela Lawrence, recreation and administrative services director.
The council will discuss fees for nonresidents, memberships, use of liability waivers and operating hours.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in council chambers, 27841 La Paz Road.
