STUDIES

* UCLA researchers are looking for overweight people, ages 18 to 65, for a study assessing the effectiveness of an experimental weight drug. Changes in body weight, food cravings and cholesterol will be tracked. Participants will receive a nutrition-oriented physical exam, electrocardiograms, small blood draws and urine samples. To qualify, individuals must be about 20% to 50% overweight and not taking anti-obesity drugs. (310) 206-8292.
