It’s SC vs. SC in a first-round Women’s National Invitation Tournament game Thursday.
USC, 15-13 overall and 10-8 in the Pac-10, defeated three of four Pac-10 teams invited to the NCAA tournament in the season’s final three weeks, but so many early-season losses took their toll.
On Sunday night the Trojans, were matched with Santa Clara, 21-8 overall and 10-4 in the West Coast Conference, in a Thursday night game at Santa Clara.
