PURIM CARNIVALS: The following carnivals will be held Sunday:

* The North Valley Jewish Community Center, 16601 Rinaldi St., Granada Hills, will hold a Purim carnival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring a moon bounce, rock climbing, pony rides, a petting zoo, a bake sale, games, an arts and crafts boutique and a psychic fair. Free. Information: (818) 360-2211.

FAMILY FESTIVAL: Chabad of the Conejo will celebrate Purim with a family festival featuring a child and adult masquerade contest, carnival booths, a moon bounce, and the reading of the megillah, the story of Purim, at 7 p.m. Monday.
