Chapman University and Loyola Marymount University will present a two-day conference on global issues of ethics and religion beginning Thursday.

The first day of the conference, the fourth such event organized by Chapman’s religion department, will be held in the Argyros Forum, room 209, on the campus in Orange. Friday’s session will be at Loyola Marymount’s University Hall Auditorium.

Global issues--Chapman University and Loyola Marymount University will present a three-day conference on global issues of ethics and religion beginning Thursday. The first two days are at Chapman University in Orange, and Saturday’s segment is at Loyola Marymount in Westchester. The Times had the wrong listings in its March 18 edition.

Celebration of Celtic Traditions

The 13th annual “Evening of Irish Spirituality” will be held from 7 to 9:30 tonight at the St. Joseph Center auditorium, 480 South Batavia St. in Orange.

Marking Friday’s St. Patrick’s Day, the event will feature music, storytelling, dancing and food to celebrate Celtic traditions and Irish spirituality.

* South Coast Christian Assembly will present the Sonlight and Praise Puppet Co. performing the Kids’ Krusade from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday and from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. * The youth group of United Methodist Church of Garden Grove will take a trip to the Door of Faith Orphanage in La Mission, Mexico, today and Sunday. The group will deliver needed items, including socks, underwear, shoes, toothpaste and other items to the approximate 50 children at the orphanage. The trip will be a part of the confirmation class.
