The City Council will meet tonight to consider spending $1.7 million for a one-year renewal period for desktop computers, printers, laptops and peripheral equipment. The council currently deals with direct manufacturers Dell Computer Corp., Gateway 2000, Micron Electronics, Intergraph Corp. and with resellers En Pointe Technologies, CompUSA and Vanstar Corp. for hardware.
