WareForce Names President

WareForce.com Inc., an El Segundo-based information-technology systems provider and technical services consultant, has named Jim Illson president. Illson formerly was president and chief operating officer of rival Merisel. Known in the technology products distribution industry as a business realignment expert, Illson will oversee WareForce’s electronic business-to-business strategy.

Thomas Zaccaro has been tapped as regional trial counsel of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s nine-state Pacific region, which includes California. He will be in charge of litigation of securities violations for the region and will be based in Los Angeles. Zaccaro is a former co-chairman of the securities litigation practice group for Los Angeles law firm Manatt, Phelps & Phillips.
