The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday to review the conditional-use permits of the Lincoln Inn and Covered Wagon motels. The commission will focus on the terms and compliance with Jan. 25 and Feb. 1 City Council rulings prohibiting guests from staying longer than 30 days within a 90-day period.
To soften the impact of its original rulings, the council on Tuesday suggested giving current residents six months to move out and a new ordinance that would allow the conversion of motels to long-term-occupancy use.
