Mayor Bev Perry announced Tuesday the City Council will hire a professional recruiter on a limited basis to look for a new city manager to replace Frank Benest, who will become Palo Alto’s city manager April 10.
The city plans to formally announce its choice for the job April 4. The decision to hire a recruiter came after two closed-session discussions about how to fill the position.
