SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
The City Council recently approved an archway sign for the entrance to Capistrano Home Center. Business owners told the council that the sign was needed to attract customers who might not see the center in its tucked-away location.
Council members noted that business has been slow because of the center’s location behind Del Obispo Plaza. The sign proposal had been rejected by the Planning Commission because it believed the height and architecture were incompatible with the plaza.
