Price of Milk
We are tired of hearing and reading about people complaining about the high price of gasoline when we don’t hear any complaints about the high price of milk. If $2 a gallon is so high for gasoline, how about $1.99 for a half-gallon of nonfat milk, which is the cost in some supermarkets?
Our family drinks an average of seven half-gallons of nonfat milk each week. I had read that milk prices were to go down in January, but they have not. In fact, they are even higher than last year.
Not only are oil companies gouging us, but so are milk distributors. I’d like to hear some complaints about that. I’d also like to hear from the milk distributors.
