The City Council has approved a $181,000 renovation of City Hall, which will include the installation of wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and a new trailer with a meeting room and restrooms.

The remodeling is scheduled to begin Oct. 1 and be completed Dec. 1. The bathrooms are necessary for the city to comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act.

The project will cost an estimated $15,000 more than is available in this year’s city budget. The city will have to use money from next year’s budget.
