Birds of a Feather

I feel Howard W. Koch Jr.’s pain (“Howard W. Koch Jr. Takes Flight as Hawk,” by Robert W. Welkos, May 1).

As a matter of fact, I’m so creatively intimidated from being the son of Jo Stafford and Paul Weston that I’m changing my given name to “Kestrel.” Wait, maybe “Peregrine.” Hey, call me “Kes” or “Perry,” just call me. I haven’t worked in weeks!

It’s this kind of “industry town” baloney that makes the Calendar section close to first on the list for pet duty.
