Irvine Sensors Forms Software Subsidiary

Irvine Sensors Corp. said Tuesday it has established a subsidiary to focus on software and related business opportunities. The subsidiary, Redhawk Vision Inc., will apply software technology to enhance videos and extract pictures from such video sources as camcorders, the Internet and television. Costa Mesa-based Irvine Sensors develops electronics and sensor products.
