The Aliso Viejo provider of dental and vision plans said it lost $2.5 million, or 52 cents a share, for the first quarter, which included $200,000 for severance pay related to a work force reduction in February. The company lost $860,000, or 18 cents a share, for the same period last year. Revenue rose 3% to $24.5 million.
