COSTA MESA
Coast Community College District officials will discuss in closed session tonight an offer by Lowe’s Home Improvement Center to lease 14 acres.
The lease offer, if accepted, would mean more revenue for the district. It would also add to the North Carolina-based hardware company’s West Coast expansion effort.
The potential lease is for the site on Adams Avenue, between Fairview Road and Harbor Boulevard, where the district has been headquartered for 30 years. The land is worth an estimated $8.1 million.
The district oversees Orange Coast College, Golden West College, Coastline Community College and KOCE-TV.
