The development of the city’s newest village could take another major step forward Thursday if plans for more than 400 homes and six private parks stand up to the Planning Commission’s scrutiny.
The commission will consider the master plan and six tentative tract maps that will pave the way for another phase of Northpark in Planning Area 4.
The Irvine Co. seeks to build 420 homes on about 78 acres between the Eastern Transportation Corridor and Culver Drive. Northpark will be bordered by Portola Parkway on the north and Irvine Boulevard to the south.
The commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council chambers at Irvine Civic Center, 1 Civic Center Drive.
